The "Abhandlungen für die Kunde des Morgenlandes" (AKM)

The DMG publishes the Abhandlungen für die Kunde des Morgenlandes (AKM). Just like the ZDMG, the titles of this series, founded in 1857, mirror the diversity of the individual disciplines represented in the society. DMG members can order the AKM from the publisher Harrassowitz at a 20 % discount and are requested to indicate their membership when ordering.

All volumes of the AKM are being successively made available via the the Specialised Information Service (FID) Middle East-, North Africa- and Islamic Studies on MENAdoc and can be downloaded here.

Manuscripts intended for the AKM should first be sent to the editor, Prof. Dr. Roland Steiner.
